Datablast started because we were tired of duct-taping tools together and watching AI demos that only worked on stage.
The story
I spent years building data infrastructure for gaming and tech companies. The pattern was always the same: connect six tools, write the glue code, pray the pipeline doesn't break at 3am, and explain to stakeholders why they can't trust the dashboard.
When AI entered the picture, it got worse — vendors bolted chatbots onto databases and called it innovation. The demos looked great. Production was a different story.
Datablast is what I wished existed. A platform where the hard stuff — ingestion, transformation, quality, governance — just works. And where AI isn't a marketing checkbox but a genuine capability: schema-aware, permission-respecting, SQL-transparent.
